Join Walking Mountains Science Center this week for a tour by moonlight of Colorado's stunning alpine flora and fauna.  Journey into the night under the captivating glow of the full moon. Learn about the habits of nocturnal animals from a Walking Mountains naturalist while you snowshoe through the pristine silence of Vail's moonlit mountains.  Snowshoes are provided.

Meet at the Nature Discovery Center yurt, top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead.  The gondola is no longer free to ride after 2pm (now after 4pm), you will need a lift ticket, a scenic tour pass or a season pass to get up to the yurt for this tour.
