Alice Feagan's "The Wonder Seekers" Exhibit to Launch at Walking Mountains' A Taste of Nature Gala
Walking Mountains is partnering with local illustrator, Alice Feagan, to present an extraordinary year-long exhibit, “The Wonder Seekers,” launching at its A Taste of Nature Gala on July 9, 2024.
Known for her ability to captivate and enchant through her artwork, Alice will be showcasing seven nature-inspired illustrations at various locations around Walking Mountains' Avon campus. These illustrations promise to take visitors, from all generations, on a journey of imagination and discovery, perfectly embodying the theme of the gala, Awakening a Sense of Wonder. This theme not only resonates with Alice’s artistic vision but also with Walking Mountains’ mission to: awaken a sense of wonder and inspire environmental stewardship and sustainability through natural science education.
Alice’s original illustrations (6' x 4') and signed prints (24" x 18") are available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Walking Mountains education, science, and sustainability programs. For more info, contact Sharon Schmidt at sharons@walkingmountains.org.
On August 22, Alice will host an EdVenture Artist Meet & Greet event for Walking Mountains donors ($1,000+). This will be a unique opportunity to meet the artist behind the “The Wonder Seekers” exhibit, delve into her creative process, and learn more about the inspiration behind her enchanting works.
