Get Out of The Car and Onto Your Bike!

Did you know that the average person loses 13 lbs. in the first year of commuting by bike?

Bike to work season is just around the corner! Many of us commute long distances to get to and from our places of work, which means it’s not always feasible to bike to work. However, there are opportunities to use our local bus service, ECO Transit, to help you and your bike get to the places you need to go!

What You Can Do

  • ECO Transit has bike racks on the front of each of their buses and they stay on year round!

  • The bike racks on ECO buses can hold 2 bikes and are available on a first come first serve basis. To use these racks your bike must be lifted and placed into the wheel slots in the rack.
  • The bike racks cannot be used after dark because they block the headlights of the bus. To ensure you can get home with your bike, make sure you plan around this rule!
