El Eagle Valley Outdoor Movement (EVOM) es un grupo de miembros de la comunidad y organizaciones locales que trabajan juntos para fortalecer la comunidad y la apreciación de la naturaleza a través de experiencias compartidas al aire libre para personas de todas las edades, habilidades y culturas. Un gran ejemplo de la gran colaboración de estas organizaciones locales fue este domingo 20 de septiembre para el segundo evento anual del día de campo familiar. ¡Gracias a todas las organizaciones participantes y a las familias que se unieron a este divertido evento!
Las familias disfrutaron de diversas actividades como tiro con arco, juegos para aprender sobre la migración de alces y aves, pesca con mosca, futbolito humano, fútbol familiar y mucho más. Este evento fue el segundo de su tipo, el primer evento fue en mayo del 2019 y, una vez más, logró reunir a más de 8 organizaciones asociadas y más de 50 participantes durante un día para descubrir y compartir experiencias y actividades divertidas al aire libre. Los socios del día de campo familiar de este año incluyeron a Mountain Recreation, Eagle Valley Land Trust, Eagle River Watershed Council, SOS Outreach, Youth Power 365, Walking Mountains, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, MIRA, Mountain Youth y Buddy Mentors.
Las familias visitaron varias estaciones con actividades diferentes mientras juntaban la palabra "Movimiento" para completar la frase "Únete al Movimiento". De esa manera, al completar todas las estaciones, ¡las familias tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en un sorteo para ganar fantásticos premios! Por lo cual, ¡Los ganadores se anunciarán en vivo mañana! ¡Únase a Renata y María en la página de Facebook de Iniciativa EVOM en vivo a las 11:45 am para saber quienes serán los ganadores del día de campo familiar de este año y cómo reclamar sus premios!

The Eagle Valley Outdoor Movement (EVOM) is a group of community members and local organizations working together to strengthen community and appreciation of nature through shared outdoor experiences for people of all ages, abilities and cultures. A great example of the great collaboration of these local organizations was this Sunday, September 20th, for the second annual family field day event. Thank you to all participating organizations and families who joined in this fun event!
Families enjoyed various activities such as archery, games learning about elk and bird migration, human foosball, family soccer games, and much more. This event was the second of its kind, the first event happened in 2019. It once again succeeded at bringing together 8+ partner organizations and 50+ participants for a day to discover and share fun experiences and activities in the outdoors! This year's Family Field Day partners included Mountain Recreation, Eagle Valley Land Trust, Eagle River Watershed Council, SOS Outreach, Youth Power 365, Walking Mountains, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, MIRA, Mountain Youth and Buddy Mentors!
At the event, families visited various stations with different activities as they put together the word "Movimiento" to complete the phrase "Únete al movimiento (Join the Movement)." That way, by completing all the stations, families had the chance to be entered to win great prizes! For which, winners will be announced live tomorrow!
